ORBENAUT - Virtual Travel into "Space", a unique journey via web and virtual reality

This is one of the unique Projects I have worked for as an Animator. We came up with this great idea to create a VR application for "Travel into Space". We decided to create a virtual tour for entire solar system. For this occasion, as we have a small frame of time to reach the deadline, we have chosen one planet and one moon "Mars" and "Europa". Both are Unique for its own distinct features and atmospheric elements.

We named it "ORBENAUT" and introduced a robotic talking planet "Orbe", as a tour guide, VR instructor and as a symbol of brand Identity. Even our UI designer designed the logo which is a similar 2D version of my Orbe.

For this project our Developer is using Unity. Other than cute Orbe, I was responsible to create entire environment for the Unity. The sky the surface, all planets and the solar system etc. Scroll down to enjoy the thrill.

Mars 3D Model
Mars has a unique quality. There are some photon particles in the sky of mars and sky appears pink and from the far view the entire planet looks pink and that’s why it is also called pink planet.

Europa 3D model
Europa mostly covered by snow and surrounded by snow mountains. The surface looks rough and white with some brown texture.
